Why mess with a good thing, you ask? Because sometimes you end up with something great as a result. The Saucony Guide 10 was a fantastic shoe, but the Guide ISO takes things to a new level. Here’s what we love about the update to this stability shoe:
The Guide now has ISOFIT lacing, which allows for a more refined fit. This allows the upper (the part of the shoe that’s not the sole) to move naturally with your foot, like a sock.
The upper has almost no stitching on it at all, which means it wraps your foot more comfortably and eliminates any possibility of friction against the foot.
The midsole (where your cushioning and support comes from) is a full-length PWRFOAM – which is a really high quality form of EVA foam. (EVA is the midsole material found in most running shoes). This gives you more comfort and durability throughout the lifespan of the shoe.
