CUSTOMER RATINGS & REVIEWS
I like the reflective elements. I checked it out in my house in the dark with my headlamp from about 50 feet away. The hem at the waist, the shoulders, and the sleeve cuffs all lit up. The big benefit to this is that a car sees a silhouette of a person instead of just some reflective strips. The bright yellow accents and white body helps me be seen in low light conditions, especially on overcast winter days. Similar to other jackets of this weight and material it does a great job of holding in heat, especially with a couple of layers underneath. This is great since most of my runs are at 4-5am during the coldest hours of the day. My one gripe is that the cuffs at the wrist are particularly tight. It's certainly not a deal breaker, but I do have to take off my watch off before I can get the jacket off, and have to peel it off inside out at the sleeve. Again, it's a small issue for a great jacket. All in all the visibility is amazing and the job it does is fantastic.
This jacket has tons of options. It's both one of the warmest and most lightweight items I own. The water and wind-protecting elements of it make it perfectly versatile. Throw just a layer or two underneath it, get to moving, and it will keep you warm all run without adding any bulk (it's probably only about 2 ounces). It's also super high viz which is always a good call. I'll be using this in cold fall rain and bitter February cold. With this piece, know that you're getting a top of the line technical item. It's one of the best shells put out by any running brand this year. Highly recommend!
I have seen and have a significant amount of gear, so impressing me is difficult, I am impressed. It is lightweight yet warm, it looks good yet reflective. This would be perfect for most weather; adding a base layer and a quarter zip will bring you below the teens easily, adding a lightweight technical shirt and your good in the 30s. While everyone warms up differently the jacket can be so versatile in the way it pairs with other layers that regardless of how easily you get hot or cold, I am confident you will love it. When going on a longer journey if you do warm up a bit quicker than you thought it folds up nicely to be put in a small running pack in such a way where you will forget it is even in there. If I had to choose one word to sum up my time wearing this jacket, it would be wow.
As advertised... great light weight/ breathable/ light weather resistant jacket with reflective technology good for cool early morning/late night runs or taking the dog for an evening walk. Able to layer underneath for when temps really dip AND it has zippy pockets so I'm not afraid of losing the key/ cards or cash or doggy bags. Two thumbs up!
