My favorite training shoe for long distance running. I have wider feet too and these are great. Been in them for years and could not recommend this neutral shoe anymore!
Just an overall great shoe that covers many bases and activities! Just the right amount of cushioning, durability and responsiveness! It's been a great shoe to take on a run, push it through some cross training, and rock them for a shift. Reliable and unwavering performance for sure!
This shoe fits me as a size 7 just right, and is a great option for someone looking for a structured, neutral shoe. The toe box is super breathable and the heel counter fits snugly (but not so much so that it hurts), so it doesn't feel like you're slipping inside the shoe. An extra feature that's worth mentioning is that these shoes have the softest, most cushioned sock liner out of any pair of running shoes I've ever worn! A great shoe overall.
Really nice shoe even for just walking around in. I agree with Adrienne as far as going up a half size. The cushioning seems to be just right.. Not too soft and not too ridged which is nice for a long steady run. The design is sharp too! Would recommend to anyone who likes a form fitting shoe with a nice spacious toe box like I do ; )
I like that this shoe has a lot of structure and feels durable. I would advise to try a half size up (maybe for those who jump back and forth between wide and regular widths, I'd go wide... worth trying on at your local Runner's Alley for sure). The cushioning system in this shoe is my favorite part of the Waverider- it's soft and absorbs impact, but firms up as you're taking off. Love this colorway, too.
