Sam Comfortable, but runs small
Putting this shoe on feels like a platform- in the best way and without being "too much" shoe. Super cushioned and comfortable. Will be perfect for a long, easy run. This shoe does run small- I sized up to the 8.5 rather than my regular 8 which didn't quite have enough space.

I have run in most Mizuno models except the Wave Sky so this was a new experience for me. I don't typically like high cushion shoes but I would consider using the Wave Sky as a long run/recovery shoe because it retains much of the energetic, responsiveness that I love about Mizuno shoes. With the Wave Sky, there is no feeling of sinking into the cushion, it feels more like the cushion propels you forward with new energy in each stride. The one part of this shoe I do not like is the loud, almost smacking sound it makes with the ground. I did, however, notice it less when I was running as opposed to just walking in it. It fits like a typical Mizuno shoe, slightly short and narrow so size up if you are in between sizes.

Definitely a firmer shoe, but overall very durable and responsive. As someone with a smaller, narrower foot, this shoe fits perfectly. It definitely is not as cushioned, but still a great shoe overall.

Overall, great shoe! Great for those longer recovery runs with the nice amount of cushion provided. Well structured and updated with Mizuno Enerzy Core, the Wave Sky keeps giving back mile after mile. If you like a lot of bounce and response from your shoe, this is a perfect fit for you!
