The Cloudstratus' dual Cloudtec® system is Swiss engineered for maximum cushioning and distance. The lower layer softens every foot strike, collapsing ready to rebound forwards. The upper layer absorbs residual impact and adds even more propulsion. Details like the anatomically engineered upper, the star-lacing system, and ribbed sock liner make the Cloudstratus ideal for runners that demand more: more clouds, more cushioning, more run.

Great option for running and walking. The Cloudstratus provides great cushion and structure while being firm and responsive. I've put many running miles in this shoe and have been impressed with how light and bouncy it feels. I now have transitioned this to being one of my everyday shoes and it's a perfect choice for that as well. The star lacing system really opens up the toe box and creates less pressure in the upper. Compared to other ON models the Cloudstratus definitely runs a little wider.

Love this update!! I found previous versions to be too firm for my liking. This is the sweet spot, not too soft, but not too firm. The fit is a tad wider in the forefoot than other models that ON sells. The cloud pods compress when you run giving a nice responsive toe-off feel and gives a very smooth ride.
