I started running in the saucony Rides (not a fan if the recent) , then transitioned to the Triumph. I would usually be a 6.5, but have been getting a 7 to accommodate a lateral heel wedge (orthotic), helps by rotating foot in so I run heel-ball and don't pound the outside of my foot to the point the contusions feel like a fracture. I say this because... these shoes are definitely a tad more narrow/smaller then other saucony shoes. I have inserts for narrow shoes ... but in these they just don't have enough room...I think I could have sized up a 1/2 size but they may have been too big. But the 7s fit perfect without orthotics and they do feel like they rotate my foot in. I can feel the arch area more then other shoes. I had a great run on the treadmill and no fatigue... increased speed more then I have and felt incredible! I already bought another pair! I Love these!! just be aware they do fit and are sized differently then the ride and triumph. But I prefer these to both.
This shoe is probably my all-time favorite shoes. It is fast, soft, responsive, and lightweight. This nylon-plated trainer definitely can take the pounding longer miles, but can quickly turn into an up-tempo pace shoe. The nylon plate is more flexible than its carbon plated counterparts, but I didn't notice a huge difference. I have done both longer miles and short speed work and didn't have an issue either way. Would highly recommend these shoes especially if you are trying to hit some PRs!
I've been a fan of lightweight, carbon-fiber plated shoes for a while and I was really excited to try out the Saucony Endorphin Speed. The Endorphin Speed features a nylon plate, which gives it great spring, but at a lower price point than the carbon plate alternatives. Between the nylon plate and the SPEEDROLL technology, this shoe gives me all the pop I need when running fast. My legs feel fresher and like I can go faster longer when wearing these. I've worn these for track workouts as well as longer marathon-paced tempo runs and they have felt awesome for both. I wore my standard running shoe size in these and found them to be true to size. The toebox is roomy and gives plenty of space if you plan on using the shoe for longer distances, such as the marathon. I'm a huge fan of these and plan on making these a staple for my workouts and races!
I love these sneakers. I wore them for the first time at night and the laces are incredibly reflective and made me feel very safe. This shoe is perfect for long runs or short races and has a nice metarocker profile that felt like it was throwing me forward and doing the work for me.
