These shoe were my first pair of BOAs and I absolutely loved them! They help up great on most trails, but didn't offer enough cushioning for super rocky terrain. They held up fairly well mileage wise, about 200 miles. These shoes got to travel with me a bit and help up great on a variety of different terrain (ie New England forest, Lake Michigan Shoreline, Badlands, New Mexico, Guadalupe MT, Flaggstaff, Grand Canyon, Kanab UT and Bryce Canyon.) I was slightly devastated when the laces snapped, which seems like its a flaw of the BOA systems. The rest of the shoe seemed to be holding up fine.

For the Switchback ISO, we partnered with BOA Technology®, creators of The BOA System, to take their dial lacing system and combine it with our ISOFIT construction, creating a game-changing fit experience that quickly and easily hugs your foot. The low profile, full-length EVERUN contoured midsole of this trail running shoe gives amazing flexibility and energy return while cradling and protecting your foot. The dual-density PWRTRAC outsole combines a firmer center footprint with a softer, tackier perimeter for traction, allowing you to conquer all obstacles in your path.
